Public-name safety
On a leaderboard, friend, or duel row, open the flag button to report the player's public name or block the player. Reports use fixed reasons and are reviewed manually during beta. Blocking immediately hides the player, removes any friendship, and closes open duels; unblocking does not restore them.
If a name shares personal information or suggests an immediate safety threat, also email support@combthecove.com. Do not include passwords, sign-in codes, or unnecessary personal information.

The wheel does not move the way I expect
Every move has to land a match, in every mode including Journey. A ring turn or spoke shift that makes nothing simply slides back and adds no point or time penalty. In Thirty Moves, an unmatched move still spends one of your thirty moves. Timed clocks keep running while you decide. Swipe along a ring to turn it, swipe inward or outward along a spoke to shift it, or open Controls for exact ring and spoke buttons. Use Hint when you want a scoring suggestion.
How do I clear a Journey level?
Reach the level's score before the clock runs out. Later chapters ask for a higher score and give you less time. A shuffle you ask for costs 150 points and a hint 100, so the score you finish with is the score after the help you took.
What happens if I miss a Journey level?
You start again from the first level of that chapter. A chapter you reach is never lost, and your best scores are kept. Clearing the level you are on advances the Journey to the next one, and clearing the last level offers “Start the Journey again.”
How do I fill my pocket?
Finish or save rounds to bank their points, and clear new Journey levels to earn wins. Replaying a cleared level can add points but does not count as another Journey win, and a win already earned is kept even when a later miss sends the run back to the start of its chapter. Open Your Pocket from Home to see the shells, sea glass, and other finds you have collected, along with your next milestones. Your finds stay yours, with no purchases or streak requirements.
How do I hear the beach?
Turn on Beach sounds in Settings for rolling waves and soft surf. Sound effects is a separate control for moves and matches. Check your device media volume, then tap a game mode to start the audio. Beach sounds pause when you leave the app and resume when you return.
What is the Daily Cove?
Everyone receives the same daily wheel. Sign in to play up to five ranked rounds; your best verified score counts toward the worldwide board. The challenge resets at midnight UTC, and the countdown in the app shows how long remains. Practice rounds are unranked and do not use a ranked attempt.
Ranked play is unavailable
Journey, Zen, and Challenges work offline. Ranked Daily Cove and Friend Duel require a network connection and a confirmed Comb the Cove email-and-password account.
